So last month, I was in KL for a short weekend break…. The parents didn’t know until I was at the doorsteps…. Hahaha! In fact, here’s a funny story…. I called the house phone to get someone to open the door….
Me: eh P, open the door….
Sister: oh ok…. *puts down the phone*
I thought to myself…. Um that’s it? You’re not gonna ask who was that in the line? So after a while, I saw my whole family at the door…. I waved vigorously and screamed “Surprise!!”
Later I found out the 2nd half of what happened after my sister put down the phone….
Dad: who was on the phone?
Sister: err, I don’t know…. A girl just asked me to open the door….
That was why the whole family was at the door…. ==”
That aside, after saving up for so long in this small town, all hell broke loose…. I went out on a mini shopping spree with the boyfie…. @@ so in this post, I’m gonna share with you what I bought…. ^^
Hello people of the earth! I’m back with another cooking adventure~~ and today, i shall tell you how to cook Cola Chicken…. my way…. ;p
I still remember vaguely hearing about the existence of using coca-cola to cook chicken but have never really tasted it before…. 1 day, I decided to search the net for some recipes but most of it contain ingredients which I cannot easily get, in this God forsaken place…. *frustration of a wannabe cook*
So, I decided to device my own recipe, of course having the 2 main ingredients which are chicken and cola… I have tried the recipe twice, 1st time was not a success (I wouldn’t call it a failure since it was still edible), it turned out to taste more like soy sauce chicken…. 2nd time turned out yummy! The chicken was not too dry, and it has a tinge of caramel-like sweetness, thanks to the amount of sugar contained in coca-colas…
For the past 3 weeks, I have been craving for Big Apple Donuts…. Their donuts are so soft and delicious…. But being the lazy me, I just let my cravings continue rather than drive 20 minutes to Giant Hypermarket to buy them….
My dear senior (shall keep it anonymous to maintain her privacy) who has graduated happened to come back here for some matters…. And to my surprise and delight, she bought some Big Apple Donuts for a few of us! Just see how wonderful He is, that even though I never requested for my cravings to be fulfilled, He provides it, at the right time!
Today started off on a bad foot…. All thanks to my biggest nemesis…. It was a relative of these 3…. Granted that it was not as cute, but thank goodness there was only 1, and it was not as annoying/mischievous as them!!

Usually when I see one, my immediate reaction will be to scream for help while I run away to safer grounds…. Lest it decides to fly towards me…. I must say, the scariest of them all are the flying ones! >.< Living so high up, with all windows closed, I had no idea how it even enter!
So, it has been 2 weeks…. How am I coping? I would say, borderline…. hahaha…. I’m able to handle, but at times I just feel vulnerable….
I have essentially been a loner kind of person (I guess…) So staying alone wasn’t that bad as I had imagine it to be… In fact, I occasionally enjoy the solitary-ness, sitting there, thinking to myself or just plain lazing there….
So far, the days have been rather busy…. Classes goes on from morning till night…. @@ But that’s just weekdays…. I wonder how would I cope during the weekends…. hmm….
By the time I reach home, I’m dead beat, but I still try to do some light exercises before I head to the kitchen to prepare my dinner…. Sometimes during times like these, being alone isn’t so bad, you don’t see with your own eyes how other people are enjoying their time while you bury your head in books, books and endless books…. But at times, you wish that there is someone there to physically comfort you…
Remember few weeks back I said that I was going on a study break hiatus? Well, due to some unforeseen circumstances, I will have to semi-extend my hiatus…. While everyone has left town for their electives (at the same time enjoy their holidays), I am stuck in this small town all on my own….
At least my little girl is still with me as I am currently invading my friends’ place…. My actual place does not allow pets…. What a bummer…. Continue reading
So I’ve just recently found out about a new
witchcraft, and yeah, by blogging about it, it means it’s got my attention! 😀 It’s called wool felting…. Just by using unspun wool, a barb needle and a foam pad, you can create cute sculptures without any sewing required!
Have I gotten your attention? hahaha….
1.Always wash hair after a whole day
You know how everyone has their own preferred time on when to wash their hair, some prefer in the morning before going out, some prefer after coming back from outside, while some prefer to wash twice (IMHO, this is too much washing which could dry out the hair).
