Where is Your Money Going?

Lets put the world of pets on a colour scale of Green to Red

On the Green end, people are spending their time, money & energy to save strays & abandoned pets… You have fosterers, shelters, rescuers and volunteers… All of them basically help these poor helpless pets with no interest of profits (at least most) or whatsover… Besides juggling their own personal life, they put out extra efforts to care for another helpless life…

On the Red end, people are producing more pets to sell like factory products… They have no regards for any other life (except their own family, perhaps?), bitches are for giving birth and studs are for impregnating them… To them, the less space these “machines” take up, the more they can fit in to a certain amount of space, at the same time the more produce can be obtained to earn the maximum profits…

Cola Chicken

Hello people of the earth! I’m back with another cooking adventure~~ and today, i shall tell you how to cook Cola Chicken…. my way…. ;p

I still remember vaguely hearing about the existence of using coca-cola to cook chicken but have never really tasted it before…. 1 day, I decided to search the net for some recipes but most of it contain ingredients which I cannot easily get, in this God forsaken place…. *frustration of a wannabe cook*

So, I decided to device my own recipe, of course having the 2 main ingredients which are chicken and cola… I have tried the recipe twice, 1st time was not a success (I wouldn’t call it a failure since it was still edible), it turned out to taste more like soy sauce chicken…. 2nd time turned out yummy! The chicken was not too dry, and it has a tinge of caramel-like sweetness, thanks to the amount of sugar contained in coca-colas…

Introducing My Little Monster

Hey boys & girls! If you have been following my blog for some time, you’d notice that I have once a while mentioned about my little puppy…. I’ve never officially introduced her, so today’s entry will be all about her…. And fret not, she will continue to make appearances in the future! 😀 I was contemplating between Robin (from One Piece, a Japanese anime) and Om Nom (the green monster from Cut the Rope), and decided to name her Om Nom!

If you all followed me since the beginning of the blog, or if you did read back on my old posts, you would know that I used to have another Maltese puppy named Seraph. She passed away when she was 10 months old, and you would know that I stopped blogging for a long while before returning….

The Big 21 Plan

Remember some time ago I posted that something BIG is coming??

IT HAS LAUNCHED!! Yay!!

So, my sister’s 21st birthday is coming…. I’m not sure how other parts of the world is, but for Asians, 21st birthday is rather important…. It marks the beginning of adulthood, where you get a key from your parents, symbolically meaning that you now have your freedom…. Although that is not usually the case if you still live under their roof and still spend their money….

Anyway, rather than going all out on a birthday bash, she embarked on a noble project… To raise funds for a charitable cause…. The proceeds from the fund raiser will be used to buy food, clothes, essentials etc to be donated to children homes and animal shelters….

Aptly named The Big 21 Plan, she has created a Facebook page here…. She designed her own T-shirts which are up for sale at affordable prices and they are available on a pre-order basis…. Despite the limited designs right now, if there is good response and support for her cause, more designs will come up!

Please do support and share about this charity fund raiser and help a soon-to-be 21 year old girl fulfil the objectives of her cause…. Thank you so much dear readers!!
